SVT Seeking Autumn 2005 Interns
SVT is seeking six interns to help work with the Davos, Switzerland-based Schwab Foundation and six of its Schwab Entrepreneurs to create social return on investment (SROI) analyses of their organizations. The subject organizations will be in a range of fields from human rights to environmental sustainability.
The interns will be centrally involved in the preparation of these SROI analyses and in debriefing the entrepreneurs about the value of and tensions involved in calculating and communicating SROI. The interns will conduct secondary research on proxy outcome studies that can be used in the calculation of the SROI analyses.
The project work will begin in early October and be completed by early December 2005. For more information, contact Sara Olsen at sara@svtconsulting.com.
Students must excel in secondary research techniques and demonstrate strong analytical and writing skills. Preference will be given to students with demonstrated research and writing aptitude and life experience relevant to the enterprises in question (which will be selected in late September).
