Center for Effective Philanthropy Seeks 2006 Winter Intern
The Center for Effective Philanthropy (CEP) seeks a current college student, ideally in his/her junior or senior year, to assist with survey research and research on current topics in philanthropy for an 8-10 week period beginning in early January 2006.
Key responsibilities will include assisting with primary research—including data collection on foundation grantmaking and nonprofit grantee organizations—as well as research on trends and special topics in the foundation field. S/he will be expected to contribute to large-scale data collection efforts, and may also assist with the development of new research initiatives. S/he will have the opportunity to work closely with CEP's staff in the execution of research and dissemination efforts.
Strong analytical ability and comfort with quantitative analysis as well as an interest in the nonprofit sector are required. This full-time, paid internship will be located at CEP's office in Cambridge, Massachusetts and will ideally begin in early January.
