Research Analyst (RA1)
The Center for Effective Philanthropy (CEP) seeks a highly motivated Research Analyst with a desire to utilize her/his abilities to create positive social impact by improving the performance of charitable foundations.
This position is available for college graduates.
Qualifications/Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess the ability to structure and execute independent analysis,
excellent quantitative analysis skills, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
Comfort with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint are required, and familiarity with statistics
is desirable.
Job description
The Research Analyst will work closely with CEP’s small, energetic staff in the
development and presentation of management tools, research reports, and case studies
aimed at foundation CEOs, executives, and trustees. More specifically, she/he can expect
to be involved in
• analyzing data related to performance assessment at foundations
• creating and presenting Grantee Perception Reports® (GPR) and other assessment
tools to foundation executives and boards
• developing and executing new research projects to assess various facets of foundation
functioning
• representing CEP at national conferences
Compensation is competitive and includes benefits. This position will be located at the
CEP’s office in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
The successful candidate would begin work at CEP during the Spring of 2006, exact start
