Award-Winning Stanford Publication Seeks Editorial Intern

The Stanford Social Innovation Review (www.ssireview.com), a quarterly published by the Stanford Graduate School of Business, has an opening for an editorial intern.

Responsibilities will include researching article ideas, curate book reviews, collect news articles, update the website and finding art for the magazine.

Conditions of Internship:
• Flexible schedule

A finalist for the “Best New Publication” of 2004 by the Maggie awards, the Review covers nonprofit management, philanthropy, corporate social responsibility, and social entrepreneurship. It presents both research and practice-based knowledge to foster innovative solutions to social problems.

Marketing Intern

Responsibilities:
• Coordinate advertising
• Analyze responses to marketing campaigns to make recommendations on future marketing positioning
• Coordinate marketing at conferences
• Produce marketing collateral
• Coordinate marketing partnerships
• Administrative responsibilities (30% of time): updating database of article submissions, mailings, etc.

Requirements:
• 20/week in the summer and continuing through the school year to 10 hours/week.
• Must be computer savvy
• HTML, photoshop, illustrator knowledge a plus
• You be must self-motivated and reliable
